The SAB Staff Office annually makes recommendations to the EPA Administrator regarding membership of the CASAC, the Chartered SAB, and SAB standing committees.

The SAB Staff Office published a Federal Register Notice on March 21, 2018, requesting public nominations of candidate experts to serve on the Chartered CASAC. The notice describes the functions of and expertise needed for the Chartered CASAC. Nominations for the CASAC can be made on the CASAC homepage (http://epa.gov/casac) under "Public Input on Membership."

The process for FY 2019 membership for the Chartered SAB and SAB Standing Committees has not yet begun. When the annual membership process for the SAB and SAB Standing Committees has begun, it will be announced in a Federal Register Notice and nominations can be made on the SAB homepage (http://epa.gov/sab) under "Public Input on Membership"

The SAB Staff Office invites comments on Lists of Candidates as they became available. Lists of Candidates will be made available on the SAB homepage (http://epa.gov/sab) or CASAC homepage (http://epa.gov/casac) under "Public Input on Membership".
