EPA's Region 4 and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality requested SAB rapid consultative advice on a draft Quality Assurance Plan for "Water Quality Study of Bays in Coastal Mississippi." The plan was based on previous s comprehensive water quality studies in each of the rivers and bays along the Mississippi coast and included procedures that represented best practices for the region and state.
