Dear Mr. Sheffy:

Thank you for submitting a request to waive the new PM10 monitoring requirement of 1 in 3 day to 1 in 6 day sampling. Upon initial review of your analysis, a discrepancy existed between your results and the regional office’s. After a thorough conversation with the DNR staff member who had conducted the analysis, it was noted that the software used did not perform the operation as required by regulation. The problem was rectified, the data reanalyzed and the results agreed with the regional office’s. Below is a listing of those sites which have been approved to continue sampling once every sixth day.
