Tribal Response Program
The goal of this project is to assist the Ramona Band of Cahuilla Indians (RBOC) in the development and enhancement of their Tribal Brownfields Program and response and cleanup capacities. The Tribe will establish the four elements outlined under the response program. This includes evaluating, assessing and cleaning up of Brownfields sites in accordance with the Brownfields 128(a) program requirements, working on public records of cleanup sites, developing an inventory of potential Brownfields sites on tribal land, and developing legal authorities and regulations.
This grant agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $100,000.00.
