UTA Pollution Prevention Grants Program
Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC), its statewide Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) centers will conduct “E3 Plus” site assistance which adds a chemical alternatives assessment and material life review at six 6 sites in the Region 6 area. Propose to continue delivering “E3” Program outreach and technical assistance to the manufacturing sector in New Mexico and west Texas, with New Mexico State University implemented through a previous P2 grant. Partnership, also includes the NM Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), and NMED�s Pollution Prevention Program. Expand the partners to include other agencies in the E3 MOU, following the E3 handbook. Working with the national and regional partners to create one new training module which can be used to train industry on source reduction techniques using material life extension because must continuously update training to keep pace with changing needs of industry.
