Project Title & Description
WETLANDS PROTECTION DEVELOPMENT - CA State Wetlands Protection
The project will assist the CA State Board Water Board in developing a wetland water quality control plan. The project includes watershed assessment demonstration projects with Regional Water Boards; developing training materials for Water Board Staff; developing a "business plan" for long-term stewardship of wetland assessment and reporting tools used by the state (including Eco Atlas and CRAM); and, conducting an assessment of regulatory applications of the California Rapid Assessment Method for Wetlands (CRAM). This work will allow the state to better protect wetlands and water quality, and supports the CA Wetland and Riparian Area Monitoring Plan.
This agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $300,000. See terms and conditions.
