Project Title & Description
Reducing Stormwater in Lower Grand River Watershed through Training & Regional Rainscaping Planning
This project will reduce urban runoff into the Grand River by training urban youth in green infrastructure (GI) job skills and by developing a regional rainscaping initiative. Green workforce development will focus on one upstream community (Rogue River Watershed) and one downstream community (Plaster Creek Watershed). Calvin College will also collaborate with watershed partner groups to create a comprehensive regional rainscaping program for the Lower Grand River Watershed.
