Expansion of EMS Pilot Into Community Level Model
The ALA of ME will be expanding their current effort helping schools develop and implement environmental management systems (through cooperative agreement X-98171901-0) and placing these efforts within the larger context of school and community health. EMS will be developed within Farmington, ME schools, with input from the Healthy Community Coalition in Farmington, ME. It is intended to integrate the EMS into school district wide health promotion and coordination efforts, and within the coordinated school health planning framework.
