Green Restaurant Initiative 2
The New York State Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NYSRAEF) will build upon its project of training New York City (NYC) restaurants to “green” their operations by expanding to restaurants in Nassau and Westchester counties in New York State (NYS), as well as NYC. NYSRAEF will provide group and on-site training sessions on pollution prevention techniques such as using water-saving devices, eco-friendly cleaning products, and energy-efficient equipment. NYSRAEF will disseminate the results through case studies and a green restaurant workbook to restaurants in NYS.
