Michigan Clean Diesel Collaborative The Diesel Emissions Act of 2010 authorizes the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support grant and loan programs designed to achieve significant reduction in diesel emissions. The Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision is focused on decreasing diesel emissions through the retrofit of various diesel vehicles including the replacement of 22 diesel trucks, the replacement of 8 school buses, and the replacement of 1 piece of off-road equipment to be upgraded from a tier 1 to an electric crane.
