US-Mexico Border Grant - Hands-On Watershed Education & Outreach Project
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $20,000. This project seeks to address non-point source watershed pollution issues to protect public health and natural resources in the CA-Baja California border region through coordinated binational actions that significantly increase community awareness of water quality issues, knowledge of pollution prevention practices and proactively engage teachers, students and citizens in field-based and hands-on educational activities that promote stewardship.
Pre-award costs have been approved back to September 1, 2005.
