Project Title & Description
Promoting Environmental Justice and Public Health via Community Involvement in Urban Redevelopment.
BCEJ, with their partners, will train community block monitors
to perform block assessments to minimize environmental and safety hazards, such as lead based paint and dust and asbestos which can be present during and after planned urban redevelopment activities. As part of the project, the partners will develop health education materials and presentations, and convene forums to be held in the community about environmental and public health issues.
