SF BAY WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT FUND - Presidio Quartermaster Reach Restoration
This project will create acres of new native habitat, including upland scrub, riparian, freshwater dune slack, brackish marsh, and salt marsh in the area that was Doyle Drive in San Francisco, adjacent to the Crissy Field wetlands. The site will be planted with native plants grown locally from seeds collected in the Presidio. This project implements water quality and habitat restoration actions listed under the San Francisco Estuary Partnership (SFEP) Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP). The agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $1,000,000.
