ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH WATCH
To complete a Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE) project in Cleveland, Ohio. This project will build a collaborative local partnership focused upon compiling existing environmental and health data, providing opportunities for broad community input to prioritize the data and share residents concerns, and develop a community based plan for improving the local environment and public health in Cleveland. The project will be conducted in partnership with Neighborhood Leadership Institute, American Lung Association, Earth Day Coalition, Pastors in Mission, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries, Swetland Center for Environmental Health at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Ohio State University, Greater Cleveland Asthma Coalition, Greater Cleveland Lead Advisory Council, Great Lakes Bioneers Cleveland, Ohio Environmental Justice Coalition, Ohio Citizen Action, Cleveland Tenants Organization, Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, Cleveland Department of Public Health, City Council Members, Cuyahoga Planning Commission, Burton, Bell, Car Community Development Corporation, Mount Pleasant Community Zone, and Alcoa.
