Emerging Technologies - Southern Research Institute
This American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 funding is provided for the implementation of emerging technologies that achieve diesel emissions reductions. Twelve garbage trucks and four pieces of construction equipment owned by the City of Durham, North Carolina will be retrofitted with emerging selective catalytic reduction technologies. It is estimated that this project will result in 12 jobs being created.
