Avoiding and Minimizing Impacts to State Waters
SMALL GRANT: ELI will research existing local, state, and federal practices for avoiding and minimizing impacts to state waters, analyze the information collected, develop recommendations for ways to improve sequencing practices at the state and local level and finally, prepare a draft report for dissemination to states and local governments.This effort will help protect wetland and aquatic resources, strengthen state and local wetland programs and support the national goal of “no net loss”.
