Project Title & Description
2012 Gordon Research Conf/Gordon-Kenan Res Semina
The 2012 Gordon Research Conf. (GRC) on June 3-8 will bring experts from around the world to discuss cutting-edge Envrironmental Endocrine Disruptors (EED) research. The Gordon-Kenan Research Seminar (GRS) on June 2-3 will bring graduate students and postdocs together to discuss EED research. Topics of research discussed include links between EED exposures and human disease; critical developmental windows of exposure; and molecular mechanisms for EED effects such as environmental epigenetics and hormone pathways. The overall objective of both the GRC and GRS is an understanding by participants of exposures and their mechanisms in laboratory models, relating them to human evidence for envrironmental endocrine disruption, and considering adaptation to environmental contamination.
