Concord River Greenway, Phase II
The Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust (LP&CT) will conduct neighborhood-based planning for the design of a multi-use pedestrian/bikepath in Lowell, Massachusetts. This alternative transportation corridor will reduce air pollution from vehicles, reduce sprawl, improve community health, provide open space for urban residents, reduce impervious surfaces, and enliven the local economy. EPA funding will be used for oversight of the Greenway's design, and for public outreach.
