Training residents of brownfields impacted communities.
This grant will provide environmental job training for local residents of cities in Massachusetts, including Boston, Somerville, Everett, Brockton and Chelsea. They will be provided with the skills necessary to participate in assessment and cleanup of brownfields properties in their community. Brownfields are real property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant.
