Omaha Lead Site Technical Assistance
There are many technical issues at Superfund sites that are hard for people to understand. The objective of the technical assistance grant program is to allow this community group to pay for technical advisors to interpret and explain technical reports, site conditions and EPA's proposed cleanup proposals and decisions. This grant program helps meet the community involvement requirements as conducted under the authority of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 or SARA.
