ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE PROGRAM - East Bay Asian Local Development
The proposed project seeks to achieve the following goals: (1) Increase community empowerment and capacity to address environmental and public health issues through engagement in local planning projects; (2) Collect air pollution data specific to Chinatown to illustrate pollution levels and health impacts on the community, and to help inform current planning processes and policymakers to shape appropriate policies to reduce air pollution; and (3) Develop a community platform which articulates community strategies to reducing air pollution and guides future development in the area.
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $25,000. See Terms and Conditions.
