Project Title & Description
Sustainability of New England Vegetable Growers Through Increased Use of Integrated Pest Management
The project features increased trapping of common sweet corn insects that also affect other crops (European Corn Borer, Corn Earworm, and Fall Armyworm). As not every grower has the resources for trapping stations, expanding the current number of sites will offer increased ability to assess pest presence and pest pressure in a given area. Information about trapping results will be shared with growers using weekly pest messages during the growing season and monthly newsletters during the off season.
