Project Title & Description
Emergency Planning and Exercising for Resilient Mobile Home Park Communities
The Emergency Planning & Exercising for Resilient Mobile Home Park Communities project will increase community awareness, coordination, and communication around local and regional hazards including impact of extreme weather events on mobile homes, water, wetlands, drinking water and wastewater supply systems and raise awareness about the Waters of the United States rule. The resilience of mobile home park communities from climate change risks and impacts will be achieved through resident-driven emergency planning and exercising activities. Through this effort, residents will be empowered to identify community hazards /vulnerabilities and to plan for emergencies through capacity building and technical assistance that will result in source reduction.
