Project Title & Description
The Center for Land-Based Learning (CLBL) matches two local high school classes through the SLEWS (Student and Landowner Education and Watershed Stewardship) program with a priority project in the community to assist the landowner and restoration partners in implementing a habitat restoration project in Napa and Sonoma County. This project improves the short and long-term health of the planet by engaging the students in real habitat restoration projects that enhances learning, develops leadership, and gives them the experience to understand the environmental history of their ecosystem and their local watershed and land. This Assistance Agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $15,000 from 07/01/09 through 06/30/10. Pre-award costs approved back to 07/01/09.
