Citizen Science - Sustainable South Bronx
The South Bronx Air Casting Project will train students and local residents to use air sensors to study air quality in the Bronx, NY. Students will be educated in data interpetation, sampling equipment development and usage. Using smartphones enhanced with air monitoring sensors, the students will monitor, map and share environmental data in their local community to promote knowledge of air pollution and environmental justice concerns.
