Project Title & Description
CAA SPECIAL PURPOSE ACTIVITIES - Public Health Partnership
This project will determine whether educating students about good indoor air quality practices in their homes and schools, and recruiting them to the Junior Health Inspectors program, will succeed in getting their families and schools to take on good indoor air quality practices. Will have the students recruit 15 families and 4 schools per year to adopt practices which will reduce indoor environmental asthma triggers thus reducing the number and severity of asthma episodes. This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $29,000. Preaward costs have been approved back to 12/1/07.
