Project Title & Description
TIERED AQUATIC LIFE USES AND IMPLEMENTATION TOOLS FOR NON-WADEABLE RIVERS
Collect and analyze new and existing biological sampling data for the purpose of developing and testing tiered designated uses. Evaluate and compare existing state methods and biological assessment tools and their application to specific rivers and their attendant water quality management issues. Two or three selected large rivers in Region V will be targeted for new data collection.
This amendment revises the scope of work to include additional fish sampling of mini-trawl in the Fox River, Lower DesPlaines River and the Ottawa River in Ohio. These activities require an approved Quality Assurance Project Plan, and the agreement has been termed and conditioned to address the requirement.
