Assessing Estuarial Impacts in Puget Sound Basin Due to Climate Change
This project will assess the vulnerability of tidal marshes and community infrastructure to storms and sea level rise, and will identify restoration projects that maximize ecosystem recovery and reduce infrastructure vulnerability to natural disasters. The Conservancy will build technical capacity and community support for restoration by filling critical baseline data gaps, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing decision-support tools to prioritize projects that jointly benefit ecosystems and communities.
