Environmental Education - Sea Series Initiative
This project is a hands-on science classroom program providing professional development to classroom teachers and hands-on activities to over 3,500 3rd through 6th grade students in the San Diego region. Each grade level will focus on an environmental issue on non-point source pollution, wetland and watershed degradation or exploitation of non-renewable resource. Preaward costs have been approved back to September 1, 2006. This agreement is in the amount of $18,542 of federal funds; total project costs are $160,000.
