American Rivers, in partnership with the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) and the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative (GLSLCI), will pilot an innovative decision support tool entitled a "green infrastructure portfolio standard" through a Water Quality Cooperative Agreement. The project will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Grand Rapid, Michigan. Some of the recipient's activities include developing a green infrastructure portfolio standard (GIPS) program for Milwaukee and Grand Rapids, an education module, a report on GIPS creation/framework, and a webinar and workshops on GIPS.
