Tribal Lead Poisoning Prevention
This project is to support the Tribal Lead Program and conduct and develop lead inspection and risk assessments to identify the potential lead based paint hazards found in pre 1978 tribal housing. In addition, this project will provide education awareness training and outreach tools to these tribal members so they can recognize and manage risks. Based on these risk assessments, the tribal Lead program will encourage tribal members with children (less than six years of age) to be blood-lead screened.
