Project Title & Description
King County Monitoring for Adaptive Management
King County will monitor up to 50 stream reaches in the Cedar-Sammamish watershed and 10 EPA Sentinel sites to: characterize watershed conditions; clarify relationships between development, land and water management, and biological and physical processes in streams; and inform adaptive management actions. Outputs will guide improved land use and salmon recovery outcomes through a robust adaptive management process. Results will be directly implemented through the Countys Comprehensive Plan update, which identifies this type of data as critical to informing land use planning decisions.
