FY14 Air Pollution Control Program
The purpose of this program is to provide continuing support for activities which include strategic planning and evaluation, compliance assistance, developing state implementation plans, monitoring air and emissions, rulemaking, operating permits and all other program-related activities. This program will protect and improve the air quality in the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) and reduce the risks to human health and the environment. In addition to the District's continuing environmental program activities, they will pass through funding to the California Air Pollution Control Officers Association for smaller California Air Districts to perform additional air control program-related activities.
This amendment fully funds this grant by increasing the federal assistance amount by $305,269 from $1,972,034 to $2,277,303.The final amount for Photochemical Assessment Monitoring Stations (PAMS) is $119,200, which includes an additional $1,250.
