CAA SPECIAL PURPOSE ACTIVITIES - Lead NAAQA Airport Study
As determined by results from a national airport study, the San Carlos Airport recorded concentrations above the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for lead (Pb). This specific award provides funding to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) to continue to support lead monitoring at San Carlos Airport and to conduct a gradient study to better understand how levels change as one moves away from the expected area of maximum concentration.
