FY-05 Pesticide Consolidated Coop Agreement
This project provides funds to the Arizona Department of Agriculture to review pesticide use along the AZ/Mexico Border to identify where specific pesticides are used. This will help the State develop programs to protect agricultural workers along the Border from pesticide exposure. In addition, ADA will conduct pesticide compliance inspections, conduct activities to protect farmworkers, ground water, and endangered species from pesticide exposure. ADA will also carry out a Certification and Training program for pesticide applicators.
