FOOD QUALITY PROTECTION ACT ( AG INIT.) - INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT FOR VINE MEALYBUG
This agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $99,995. The integrated strategy will rely on pheromone mating disruption, biological controls, baits for Argentine ant control, and the judicious use of reduced-risk pesticides. The project has the potential to substantially reduce the use of the high-risk pesticide chlorpyrifos on 40,000 acres in California. See terms and conditions.
