Sustaining EPA's Tools for Schools
The Connecticut Department of Public Health, through the Connecticut School Indoor Environments Resource Team, plans to train schools to implement the US EPA's Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools program to improve indoor air quality in school buildings as well as educate school officials and parents on the risks associated with exposure to typical indoor air pollutants found in school buildings. In addition, the Connecticut Department of Public Health will also train other state health departments on effective methods of training school districts in their states.
