Project Title & Description
Petroleum Brownfields Clean-up at Scio Street Site
The City of Rochester will clean up the 0.25 acre lot known as 62-64 Scio Street. The project will include remediation of petroleum contaminated soil and groundwater present as a result of releases from historic underground storage tanks (USTs). Once the site is cleaned up, the City of Rochester and the public will benefit from the future redevelopment of the site. During the life of the project, the City of Rochester will involve residents and other stakeholders surrounding the site by holding community involvement meetings and sharing written information.
