STATE AND TRIBAL RESPONSE PROGRAM
The purpose of this project is to support continued development and implementation of a Tribal Response Program for the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) in accordance with CERCLA 128(a). It includes program development, site inventories, site assessments, oversight and enforcement at environmental sites, and certification of site cleanups. The purpose is to enhance GRIC's current voluntary cleanup program by addressing sites that can be reused and redeveloped, and thereby, improve human health and the environment on the tribal reservation and lands.
This agreement provides federal funding in the amount of $154,850.
