Estimating the Changing Proability of Participation in Recreational Fishing Due to Changing Water Quality

Discussion paper describes an effort to estimate and apply equations for predicting how changes in water quality state-by-state will affect the probability that a resident of any particular state will engage in some recreational fishing during a year. This is the first stage in a four stage effort to estimate the annual national benefits of water pollution control accruing to freshwater recreational fishermen.
