Controlling Outliers in Contingent Valuation Experiments

The purpose of this study is to review methods researchers have used to control outliers in contingent valuation (CV) surveys and to recommend new approaches to this problem. In the process, we will identify the pitfalls of certain approaches and hopefully standardize some methods of data analysis for the CV literature.
