National Benefits of Water Pollution Control

The current state-of-the-art regarding benefit theory and empirical methods that have been applied to water quality benefit estimation were reviewed and evaluated. National estimates of water pollution damages were derived for human health, material damage, production cost, property value, psychic and recreation categories for 1970.
