This webinar was offered as part of the Materials Management Through Sustainable Consumption Webinar Series.

In this session, we explored the business case for sustainable consumption. Speakers covered complex topics regarding sustainability, supply chain management and low-impact products. This session featured a speaker from the World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBCSD) who discussed the organization’s 2050 Vision for a world where “9 billion people live well, and within the limits of the planet.” In addition, we heard from a high-profile company whose core business relies on a healthy environment. Both speakers shared their perspectives on how businesses are integrating sustainability and sustainable consumption into their business models.
