Utility Manufacturing, Wilbraham produces drawn wire and rod products using steel and brass. The facility is located on a 5 acre parcel of land. The facility generates acid/alkali, cyanide and metallic wastes in tanks. Prior to 1983 the facility stored these wastes in a lagoon. Significant cleanup work has been performed on the lagoon. The site is undergoing investigation and cleanup voluntarily with the MA DEP.
