Emhart Industries Inc., W. W. Cross Division, is an approximately 17 acre site in Jaffrey, NH. The facility manufactures tacks, generates electroplating wastes and formerly operated a hazardous waste lagoon. As a result of previous cleanup activities, there are currently no unacceptable risks to humans from site contaminants. Although some site contaminants are present in groundwater, they are well delineated and controlled.
