Program description:
1. The Charlotte Harbor Estuaries Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Network is designed to provide a framework for consistent training, sampling, data analysis, and data presentation for water monitoring throughout the region.
2. C.H.E.V.W.Q.M.N. volunteers monitor estuarine water quality for the 6 Aquatic Preserves within the Charlotte Harbor NEP area. Samples are collected at 40 sites on the first Monday of each month near sunrise to provide synoptic information across the estuaries.
