Program description:
Lake Level Minnesota uses volunteer observers to document lake level fluctuations (or lack thereof) on a regular basis, to create permanent, credible, public lake level records. Data are used to estimate flood levels for zoning purposes, administer DNR's public waters perit program, prepare local water management plans, and model lake water quality characteristics.
