Program description:
International Shorebird Survey data are used principally for conservation and management initiatives. Project data have provided pivotal information to federal agencies including departments of Wildlife, Defense, and Agriculture. Cooperators adopt a site which they census every 10 days at key migration seasons. Monitoring occurs nationwide.
