Many of the streams flow directly into the Schuykill River. A few flow into Cobbs Creek and eventually into the Delaware River. We use Surber samplers to collect macroinvertebrates each April. Volunteers conduct chemical tests at their sites weekly, as well as habitat assessments. We were trained by Stroud Water Research Center, a research laboratory of the Academy of Natuaral Sciences in Philadelphia.
