Description:The primary purpose of PA State Parks is to provide opportunities for outdoor recreation and to serve as outdoor classrooms for environmental education.
This state park maintains and protects the riparian greenway including the historic Delaware Canal, numerous miles of Delaware River shoreline, and 11 river islands in Bucks and Northampton Counties. The park maintains two fish passageways in Easton, PA. A history-based visitor center is operated in New Hope.
